This family was a complete joy!! Moody, fall family session at Cochran Mill Park = waterfalls, laughs, and two WILD little boys!

Jennifer and her family met me at Cochran Mill Park in Chattahoochee Hills in October for their fall family session with me. Mom is also a fellow photographer who originally found me through Facebook, so it was extra special that she trusted me as her Peachtree City family photographer. Her four- and six-year-old boys brought SO much personality to every photo. They were silly, playful, and completely themselves!
Below I’m recapping their session for anyone in Peachtree City looking for family photography with me, but head here if you want more details about my family photography!

This entire session felt more like an afternoon of laughing and having fun together than a traditional photoshoot.

After spending the afternoon with this family, I can tell you one thing for sure: these four know how to have FUN together. Below I’m recapping the Payne family’s session, but head here if you want more details about my family photography!

What This Family Wore for Their Peachtree City Family Photography
Can we talk about their outfits for a minute?! Because they absolutely nailed it.

Dad wore a soft red short-sleeve button-up shirt with khaki pants. Mom wore a gorgeous blue short-sleeve dress with delicate lace detailing and brown leather boot heels.

Their oldest wore a gray button-up shirt, green cargo pants, black boots, a navy tie, and black-and-white suspenders. His little brother wore a denim button-up shirt, red pants, brown shoes, and the sweetest little red bowtie.

I mean…HOW CUTE?! The boys looked like the cutest little Southern gentlemen, and I loved how everything coordinated without looking overly matchy-matchy.

A Fun October Family Session at Cochran Mill Park
October really showed off for us during this family photoshoot. The weather was absolutely beautiful with sunshine, a comfortable temperature, and not a cloud in sight.

Cochran Mill Park has 800 acres of woods, fields, streams, waterfalls, huge boulders, rock outcrops, wildflowers, and the ruins of three historic mills. It’s in Chattahoochee Hills near the recognizable Serenbe community, giving families around the Peachtree City area another gorgeous outdoor option.
We photographed around the waterfall, surrounded by patches of grass, trees, and all that beautiful natural scenery. The kids could move, explore, and run around while Mom and Dad interacted with them. And honestly? That’s where the magic happens.

Two Brothers Who Could NOT Stop Playing
These boys were physical, energetic, and rough-housing with each other basically nonstop. And I loved every second of it.

There was something so sweet about watching them interact because you could tell they genuinely love being together. I want the picture of brothers laughing together. I want the picture where one kid is trying to tackle the other. I want those genuine smiles!

Mom and Dad joined right in, too. They were playful, silly, and completely willing to get a little crazy with their kids. So let’s document THIS version of them—the wild version, the silly version, and the version that can’t stop moving.
